“TO THE NINES” RETURNS WITH A STAR-STUDDED PRESENTATION BY THE LOS ANGELES URBAN LEAGUE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals announces the return of “To The Nines”, a star-studded celebration honoring nine Los Angeles urban elites for their contributions to the community with a special after party ceremony, following the 39th Annual Whitney M. Young Awards Dinner presented by parent organization, Los Angeles Urban League. “To The Nines” will take place on Wednesday, April 25th at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, CA.

Downtown Los Angeles will drip with glamour and excitement as the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals (LAULYP) roll out the red carpet to honor nine dynamic, savvy, and civic-minded African-American young professionals, illuminating the torch of service by recognizing the chosen Divine 9 for 2012 which include:

“We are pleased to honor these nine soldiers in the movement of community and social services in Los Angeles at our signature fundraising event of the year,” said Michelle Merriweather, President of the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals. The 2011 presentation of “To The Nines” made for one of the most talked about events within Los Angeles professional circles. With expectations running high, this year, LAULYP intend to elevate the charm, elegance, and electric experience.
